Neons and Florals

Floral Top from Landmark
White Jeans from Forever 21
Pink Suede Pumps from CMG

This post is supposed to start as "Summer is fast approaching.", but after today that wouldn't be accurate. Summer is already here! The amount pf sweat I excreted today can attest to that (sorry for TMI, it's just necessary to prove a point. Lol)

Now that's summer is here and it's spring somewhere, time to get your florals and neons out! I'm loving my mom's top, don't you? And yes I borrowed from my mom again. :)

Anyway, let's get on point. What I love about this neon floral top is that its neon and floral, haha, well aside from that, we can all agree that floral can be super girly, but the cut of this top provides some masculinity which is a good balance. I paired it with a white boyfriend-looking jeans, some light pink suede pumps and my maroon sling bag to finish my look. Simple and awesome, right!

I'm sure you can all put this kind of outfit in no time too. Tell me how it goes! Love love love to hear from you!

This look is available in lookbook here.

Young, wild, free

A good pair of denim pants is a staple in most of our closet, as it can go a long way. You can go casual just by pairing it with a shirt and a pair of sneakers; you can wear it with pointed stilletos and a blazer and you have a business casual look; how about some boots and
some fringe with flower bands and you have boho chic. See, there's so many ways you can style it and people will never notice that you're using the same pants over and over again.

In this outfit, I casually tried out denim. Not in a form of pants, but rather a vest. I thought at first I will look like someone from 70s because I purposely bought this vest for a 70s themed performance, to the tune of Growing Up (Bagets theme song). But I guess since everything is toned down and I just pair it with an LBD, it actually looks fresh and young. Do you agree? Check the other pictures to convince yourself. haha

On the Spot

Feeling on the spotlight with my background street lights. Feeling pretty too on its effect on me. Don't you agree? Yes? Haha

So here's the second look on my one-top-different-looks series. This time I matched it with my black midi sheer skirt, which in my opinion give me a more elegant and classy look. Also, an office-appropriate outfit, which is very important for an office girl like me! I finish my look with a printed scarf to add a pop in it and gold accessories to match the classy and elegant look I'm going for. This look is best worn with pumps or pointy stilletos. But for me since I'm off for work, I'm breaking all the rules for comfort. :D

Sharing with you some of the delicious garbage I ate that day! 8 cuts FTW burger and #thebestonionringsever. Indulge!

Playing with Plaid

Friday, January 23, 2015

It's the weekend again!!! The sound of it makes me just wanna lay in my bed for a few more hours, don't you? But my working day isn't over yet, aside from having one of the longest week in the office. I still have one more day 'til I can finally enjoy the WEEKEND. So enough with my stressful week, let's get on to my outfit post that has long been posted in lookbook, like a week now. Hah! This is what a busy week brings to you. Check it out!

Here's another take on my plaid cropped top. Now more subtled but still mysteriously sexy. I matched it with my navy blue maxi dress with a low plunging back details, which became my maxi skirt for this outfit. Did you notice that? So in this outfit, I also find a way to wear my low plunging back maxi dress without being too revealing or too ordinary like wearing a cardigan as an outerwear.

I wore this outfit to my last dinner date with my momo for the year 2014. I tell you, he really loved my outfit. He was even inspired to dress up alongside. See photo below.

So since it's a weekend again, why not give a little twist with your go-to outfits and try this outfit. I'm sure everybody will be impressed on you without looking exaggerated.

Golden touch

Friday, January 16, 2015

So here's an outfit featuring two of my current favorites in my closet matched perfectly, again. Honestly, I am not so much into sweaters before since Philippines is a tropical country, but due to climate change, I don't have so much of a choice. So little did I know that I'm going to love having and wearing one. The blue green knitted sweater is an absolute favorite, what I love about it is of course, the color, the deep V-neck, the fit and the warmth it provides. Because of my so much love on my knitted sweater, I want to experiment more with it and so this is the first series of my "ONE-TOP-DIFFERENT-LOOKS". I am not sure yet how many outfit I can think of with one top so I'm keeping my title open. :)

For the first look, I matched it with my golden high-waist shorts, I am a sucker for high-waist shorts, I feel like its giving my body some volume and it always looks classy, especially in gold. I finished my look with mom's trusted platforms and a gold snake-looking bracelet (which I don't have a close-up pic).

This outfit is not just stylish and classy, but way way comfortable. I wore this to a play time with my nephews at a new play place in Robinson Galleria, Kidzoona!!! WE. HAD. SO. MUCH. FUN. Yes, not just the kids! It's for all ages! Look at the pictures below to see how much fun we had!
