Basics

Cropped top and high waisted pants from Stradivarius, Sandals from Zalora, Watch from Fossils

My love for basic clothes is pretty evident in this blog, especially now, it just so comfortable and easy. Through time, I have learn to make a simple and basic look into a chic and oomf look. Here are a few tricks I learned:

1. Shoes. Your choice of shoes is very important, it can dictate and define your look. It can also amplify your basic look!

2. Cut and Silhouettes. Choose a cut and  silhoutte that flatters (makes you more beautiful) you and at the same time comfortable.

3. Accessories. The minimal the better. Just pick some statement items to match with your basic clothings.

So there you have it, I hope this helps you one way or another. Do you have some tricks you would want to share, let me know in the comments. I'd love to know!

Happy birthday again to my love! He took all my photos in this post and so many others! He deserves a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cake! (Cake from Now Baking Ph!)

Laced up!

Lace top from Choies
Tank top and high waist shorts from Forever 21
Snake skin sandals from Blanc Dot, The Ramp Store
Straw hat from Kultura, The SM Store
Bucket bag from Stradivarius

Pairing lace and denim on one of my outfits while at the beach, and I have to say I love the look, don't you? This look has the right amount of drama and femininity in it, just the way I like it. The best think about this outfit is that it gives an illusion, like a way to hide some of those pounds you gained in pigging out during a vacation.

That would be all for now! <3

Don't forget to hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

Everything is awesome

We're now on the third installment of my SG trip, finally, one more day to go. The third day, we had a side trip to LEGOLAND, Malaysia which marked the completion of my happy kiddie trip. I think it's really nice and healthy to reconnect to that kid inside, makes you feel young and when you do it will naturally comes outside.

There are a lot of pictures on this day trip but I don't want to bombard you with my cuteness, so I hope the photos above has made you want to go and visit LEGOLAND (it keeps capitalizing, why o why?). I really suggest it to families with little kids because their rides were all child friendly, no dreadful and nauseous feeling after. The Imagination land allows kids to create their own cars out of lego and there is also the Einstein room, (it was fully booked when we get there, so be sure to reserve your time before checking the other site) I bet it will let you create things only your imagination can perceive.

Now, let's discuss my outfit, I honestly planned what to wear in this trip ahead of time, my major considerations are the weather and the activities. For this day, I bravely worn a cropped laced top and match it with a high-waist shorts to minimize any skin and tummy exposure! :P See, I know I don't have the flattest tummy, but with proper matching, you can still wear whatever you want and still look chic and stylish. Also, it's summer so I think everybody will forgive you for wearing a cropped top, anyway, you just want to enjoy the sun with enough ventilation, right? Just always remember to have a balance in your outfit. As to the color of my outfit, I go for complimentary colors, primary color blue and its secondary colors, green and purple.

Hope you had fun browsing through the photos and learn a thing or two.

'Til the next one. See yah around! :D

A good pair of denim pants is a staple in most of our closet, as it can go a long way. You can go casual just by pairing it with a shirt and a pair of sneakers; you can wear it with pointed stilletos and a blazer and you have a business casual look; how about some boots and
some fringe with flower bands and you have boho chic. See, there's so many ways you can style it and people will never notice that you're using the same pants over and over again.

In this outfit, I casually tried out denim. Not in a form of pants, but rather a vest. I thought at first I will look like someone from 70s because I purposely bought this vest for a 70s themed performance, to the tune of Growing Up (Bagets theme song). But I guess since everything is toned down and I just pair it with an LBD, it actually looks fresh and young. Do you agree? Check the other pictures to convince yourself. haha
