Laced up!

Sunday, June 28, 2015

Lace top from Choies
Tank top and high waist shorts from Forever 21
Snake skin sandals from Blanc Dot, The Ramp Store
Straw hat from Kultura, The SM Store
Bucket bag from Stradivarius

Pairing lace and denim on one of my outfits while at the beach, and I have to say I love the look, don't you? This look has the right amount of drama and femininity in it, just the way I like it. The best think about this outfit is that it gives an illusion, like a way to hide some of those pounds you gained in pigging out during a vacation.

That would be all for now! <3

Don't forget to hype this look on lookbook and chictopia!

Serenity

Thursday, June 11, 2015

Finally posting another beach trip from last month's summer escapade with my favorite people. We went to Coco Grove, Laiya, Batangas, and they stood by their name, so the place is filled with palm (coconut) trees. As compared to other beaches I have been to, this place is way below than the others, in terms of cleanliness of the beach and sea water, whiteness of the sand and the sunset is in the opposite of its location.

But, with all those things lacking, I still felt the serenity I needed from all the stress I accumulated from the past-paced city life. Ahh, what a treat! This is really my comfort and peaceful zone.

The increasing temperature in the Philippines has made me to opt for cropped tops and short shorts, for the obvious reason of comfort and enough ventilation. In this trip, that's what I mostly packed, for my first day, I wore an Aztec print cropped top and paired it with white lace shorts. My top and shorts both have simple silhouettes but the Aztec print and the contrast of lace made it stand out and shout Chic! What do you think?

Beach break!

Taking a break from the SG posts to give way to this beach post before rainy season take over summer! Two beach outfits featuring the very versatile denim high waist short pants. I am the happiest to have this staple in my closest, I have worn it several times this summer. How's that for being worthy? One for keeps.

I really find comfort staying in the beach, the combination of the sun, sand and sea waves never fails to provide me peace. The sounds and fast paced city life could get tiring at some point, so I made sure to visit a beach every summer. Here's my first beach trip in Morong, Bataan. In all fairness, the beach is photogenic! Ha!

That would be all, stay protected while enjoying under the sun.

'til the next one!

That Kid inside!

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

I present to you the second installment of my Singapore trip, this time, I got to be a kid again by spending a day at the Universal Studios Amusement Park! We got to ride every ride we could and enjoy every bit of it just like a kid should. Each attraction is an adaptation of a Universal Studios movies where each attraction has its own ride, I enjoyed the most the 4D short movie at Far Far Away kingdom and the escape ride at the Sci-fi City with the help of some friendly transformers.

For my outfit, I wore a simple and casual, yet chic outfit. Here's my #ootd taken at the Universal Studios globe icon. I suggest you to be at your most comfortable outfit to endure the warm and humid weather and enjoy the park with no hassle.

It's so surreal, that this is all happening too soon! :D

And, for the latter part of the day, we went fish watching at the South-East Asia (S.E.A) Aquarium. Got to see Nemo and Dory in live action. Hihi
