Kandaya

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

Rainy days just started in the Philippines but looking back in my photos of Kandaya makes me want to wish summer would be longer so I can have more beach trips like this. I must say that Kandaya captured my heart, and I probably have left it there, I'm not quite sure. Lol.

You know what they say that happiness of a trip relies on your company. That wherever you go as long as you're with your favorite people will be the best trip always. Well, this place has that made me think twice. I was here for a business / pleasure trip which means, I might probably with some of my boss, and other stakeholders I need to work with. This place makes me not bother whose company I'm with, the comfort, the serenity and the happiness it gives me is overflowing that a company became irrelevant to me. The introvert inside me is jumping in joy! You think I'm  exaggerating, browse the photos below to see what I mean.

I cannot help myself from taking a #selfie.

The interiors are elegant and got a home-y feeling. I love that it does not have the feel of a high rise hotel, it's just a two-storey house that has big rooms in it!

Now, this is my room. I really had a dilemma of exploring the place and staying under the sun or just staying in my room. I want this room!!!

I highly suggest this place on your next vacation trip. The services are top-notch, the food is hearty and delightful, the whole place shouts luxury, comfort, and home! A 5 out of 5 rating! Book now!!!

White shirt from Mango
Flouncy Skirt from G2000
White bag from Parfois
Oxfords from Aldo
Jewel necklace from Stradivarius

Forgive my one toned slightly haggard face, this was taken after a long day at the office! Lol. Enough of my face, let's talk about my outfit. It has been five years since I graduated, and boy I must say I've missed the school life. You know the feeling of being carefree and not worrying about what bills to pay. Ahh, those days. But since I have no plans in the very near future to go back, I injected some school vibes in my everyday corporate attire. If I have the budget and the fashion back in my school days, I'd probably wear this look. Comfy and stylish in one. A look that I hope Queen B would approve (without consideration to the lack of the designer items, of course).

A white buttoned down shirt and a flouncy skirt in two toned color with a pair of oxfords are what you need to achieve that school girl look. Add some multi-colored jeweled necklace and you're ready to stand out in the crowd.

How about you, how do you go for a school girl look? I'd love to know! <3

Singa-four

Saturday, May 30, 2015

Shirt from H&M
Skirt from Shop Thrift Market
Oxfords from Aldo
Layered necklace from Quirky Avenue

Finally we're at the last day of my Singapore trip, hence the title Singa-four! Haha witty right, it was a kid's idea! :)

The last day was all given to shopping and roaming around the city. It's really a good thing that the city kept some of the british architecture, it was a good balance with the skyscraper buildings. To my outfit, I wore this beautiful and feminine midi skirt I got from Shop Thrift Market. I really felt all girly wearing it, especially if paired with a good pair of stilettos. But with all the walking and to balance the feminine look of my skirt, I matched it with a white shirt and an oxford. Voila, ready to go!

Singapore, may be a small city but there's a lot to explore and each street has a lot of story to tell. I definitely will be back!
