Malapascua Island

Cropped top from Forever 21, Neon circle skirt from Penshoppe, shades from Aldo, High-waist bikini from Sunkissed
A long overdue post I know, I guess work and some Surgeon (Grey's Anatomy) addiction got in the way, apologies, but now I'm back and finally sharing with you my day trip to Malapascua island. It was a 45 minutes to 1 hour boat ride from Kandaya Beach Resort, Daaangbantayan, so we got plenty of time to spare on reading a book, nap and taking a lot of photos. As you've noticed, the picture taking part was a bit of a struggle because of the strong winds and waves. Luckily, we got some decent and some dramatic photos, agree?

Anyway, hope you could find some time to visit this place, I assure you, you will be relaxed as you ever can imagine and very pleased with the whole experience. Try some color blocking while you're at it, it will surely make you feel belonged and stand out at the same time! Enjoy summer!!!

A Sunday love affair!

Dress (old), Headwrap from Forever 21 (they have a wide range of designs where you can choose what works for you), Sandals from Payless, Bag from Parfois, Shades from Aldo

This soft denim Sunday dress has been with me for years, and honestly I find it too simple and ordinary before. Lo and behold, when I matched it my current favorite pink headwrap with a big pink ribbon, it changes my feelings for the dress. Just a brief of a background, the way I have worn my headwrap is to give me relief from my hair and more ventilation. I never thought it would look stylish but it did! Miracles do happen even in accidents. <3

Everything is awesome

We're now on the third installment of my SG trip, finally, one more day to go. The third day, we had a side trip to LEGOLAND, Malaysia which marked the completion of my happy kiddie trip. I think it's really nice and healthy to reconnect to that kid inside, makes you feel young and when you do it will naturally comes outside.

There are a lot of pictures on this day trip but I don't want to bombard you with my cuteness, so I hope the photos above has made you want to go and visit LEGOLAND (it keeps capitalizing, why o why?). I really suggest it to families with little kids because their rides were all child friendly, no dreadful and nauseous feeling after. The Imagination land allows kids to create their own cars out of lego and there is also the Einstein room, (it was fully booked when we get there, so be sure to reserve your time before checking the other site) I bet it will let you create things only your imagination can perceive.

Now, let's discuss my outfit, I honestly planned what to wear in this trip ahead of time, my major considerations are the weather and the activities. For this day, I bravely worn a cropped laced top and match it with a high-waist shorts to minimize any skin and tummy exposure! :P See, I know I don't have the flattest tummy, but with proper matching, you can still wear whatever you want and still look chic and stylish. Also, it's summer so I think everybody will forgive you for wearing a cropped top, anyway, you just want to enjoy the sun with enough ventilation, right? Just always remember to have a balance in your outfit. As to the color of my outfit, I go for complimentary colors, primary color blue and its secondary colors, green and purple.

Hope you had fun browsing through the photos and learn a thing or two.

'Til the next one. See yah around! :D

A Date with Marshmallow

Second post, oh yeah! Sorry, I am really just excited that I have my own blog now. =D

So about my day, after  a day at the office, Momo and I decided to see Big Hero 6 and all the stress that I obtain from a week's work was laughed out of my system because of Baymax. I looooove him!!! I want to have him home! Oh such a huggable robot, cutest ever! Okay, I'm gonna stop with that to avoid spoilers. You guys should watch it! Money and time well spent with this movie!!!

So here are some of my few-minutes-that-feels-like-forever-moment with my dear Baymax.

Kagigil!!!
They look so cute together, yes?

He loves me too! Please make me your patient! (oops) >spoiler alert<

Gold Top, Outerwear, High-waist jeans, Shoes, Necklace all from Forever 21
Belt, The SM Store

Forgive my face here, i'm just too excited. =D

So on to my outfit, I opt for a more laid-back look but still corporate appropriate outfit. I paired my high waist black pants with my gold top for a lesser casual look and I layered this beige blouse as an outerwear. I love the black lining of my blouse, it actually makes my look all put together. To finish my look, I add this gold and pink bead necklace and animal print to break the monotony of my outfit.

That's all for today. Hope you get inspired with my look.

Let me know your thoughts. I would love to hear from you!
