Maxi + Grey

Grey maxi dress from Zalora basics, Boho necklace from Girl Shoppe

This was taken in the eve before my birthday, I wanted to be very comfortable and chic and stylish at the same time. One of my favorite trends lately is the minimalist look for a no brainer reason, its minimal and easy! Hah! So for this outfit, I opt for this maxi dress I got from Zalora, matched it with a dream catcher necklace and I'm all set. Simple, chic and comfortable. Minimal styling at its finest, yeah?

That would be all, watch out for my late birthday post and a giveaway very soon! <3

Dress from Shop Thrift Market (it's on sale so go get yourself one), Sandals from Zalora

Green Pasture's own healthy version of Carbonara topped with an egg.

Classic Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup with yummy salad on the side. (So much for comfort food!)

(L) Almond, banana, strawberry and (R) Organic Lemongrass Tea

This is a bit pricey, but all worth it if in your celebratory mood.

Here's the story: a very special person closest to my heart is celebrating his three decade of existence in this world today. Happy birthday my Momo!

Last Saturday night, we had an advance celebratory dinner at Green Pastures and have you noticed? We both dressed up! For me, I finally got to wear my red dress from Shop Thrift Market which I bought a couple of months ago, but couldn't decide when is the right time for it, until last Saturday.

The dress is a bit body hugging which practically gave a perfect picture of what's going on in my body but its bold color play its part and did some intimidation (that's the hope, right?). Anyway, I still feel pretty and chic, so who cares! <3 🙊🙈🙉🐵 (just in case you can't recognize the emoticon, they're monkeys)

Also available in lookbook and chictopia! Btw, I'm in bloglovin too, follow me! 😁

Basics

Cropped top and high waisted pants from Stradivarius, Sandals from Zalora, Watch from Fossils

My love for basic clothes is pretty evident in this blog, especially now, it just so comfortable and easy. Through time, I have learn to make a simple and basic look into a chic and oomf look. Here are a few tricks I learned:

1. Shoes. Your choice of shoes is very important, it can dictate and define your look. It can also amplify your basic look!

2. Cut and Silhouettes. Choose a cut and  silhoutte that flatters (makes you more beautiful) you and at the same time comfortable.

3. Accessories. The minimal the better. Just pick some statement items to match with your basic clothings.

So there you have it, I hope this helps you one way or another. Do you have some tricks you would want to share, let me know in the comments. I'd love to know!

Happy birthday again to my love! He took all my photos in this post and so many others! He deserves a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cake! (Cake from Now Baking Ph!)
